Computational Physics Teaching Laboratory

The Computational Physics Teaching Laboratory (CPTL) is an advanced physics computer lab intended for Physics undergraduate as well as graduate level students. The CPTL is equipped with several Intel i5 and i7 processor based multicore computers, with multiple operating system environments. These machines have various compilers and libraries installed for modeling and simulation as well as for the development of algorithms to solve diverse numerical problems in Physics and related areas. The CPTL is aimed to provide opportunities to students to experience state-of-the-art equipment, knowledge of computational modeling and simulation programs, and give them an opportunity to develop advanced problem solving and research skills.
