Executive Summary
Dr Karthik Krishnan received his doctoral degree from The University of North Dakota, USA. He performed his research under the tutelage of Dr Ann Flower and worked on a translational GTPase, BipA found in Escherichia coli. Thereafter, Dr Krishnan accepted a postdoctoral fellowship in The Forsyth Institute, Cambridge, MA. His postdoctoral work was guided by Dr Margaret Duncan. The focus of his postdoctoral research was to understand the physiological role of two-component regulatory systems in Porphyromonas gingivalis, a dental pathogen. Dr Krishnan has published and presented his work in international journals and conferences.
