  • UC Berkeley Summer Programs

    Shiv Nadar University has an agreement with UC Berkeley Summer Programs that provides undergraduate or graduate students at SNU an opportunity to study at UC Berkeley during Summer Session.

    The University of California, Berkeley is a top-ranked public research university in the United States. It was founded in 1868, and serves as the flagship institution of the ten research universities affiliated with the University of California system. UC Berkeley maintains close relationships with three United States Department of Energy National Laboratories—Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory, Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory and Los Alamos National Laboratory. As of October 2018, Berkeley alumni, faculty members and researchers include 107 Nobel laureates, 25 Turing Awards winners, and 14 Fields Medalists. In the 1960s, Berkeley was particularly noted for the Free Speech Movement as well as the Anti-Vietnam War Movement led by its students.     The agreement between Shiv Nadar University and University of Essex includes collaboration of research projects, and exchange of students and academic staff.

  • University of Michigan, Ann Arbor

    SNU and the University of Michigan – College of Literature, Science and the Arts collaboration aims at expanding scholarly ties, facilitate academic cooperation and promote mutual understanding for establishing a program for University of Michigan to host students from Shiv Nadar University at its Ann Arbor Campus. SNU students can undertake semester/year study at the University of Michigan at an academic level equivalent to their level at SNU.

The university is a founding member of the Association of American Universities and is considered as one of the foremost research universities in the United States. Michigan is classified as one of 115 Doctoral Universities with Very High Research by the Carnegie Classification of Institutions of Higher Education. As of October 2018, 50 MacArthur Fellows, 25 Nobel Prize winners, 6 Turing Award winners and 1 Fields Medalist have been affiliated with University of Michigan.   • University of Pompeu Fabra, Spain

    Shiv Nadar University, Delhi-NCR’s Center for Archaeology, Heritage and Museum Studies (CAHMS) and Spain’s Universitat Pompeu Fabra, Barcelona, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the intent of establishing a program of collaborative partnership. The aim is to enable scholarly cooperation, communication, exchange, and enhancement of interdisciplinary training for students and professionals.

    UPF was founded in 1990 by the Catalan government with the aim of creating a public university focused on academic excellence and contributing to the country’s development. To achieve this goal, over the years, UPF has carried out all of its activities in accordance with strict quality criteria and has created a model of an urban university that is intimately linked to the city of Barcelona.

  • University of Queensland, Australia

    An MoU has been signed between the University of Queensland and Shiv Nadar University. The plan is to enable SNU students to earn dual degrees for undergraduate and postgraduate programs. For example, a student from the School of Engineering at Shiv Nadar University may receive a Bachelor’s Degree from both institutions after completing two years at Shiv Nadar University and two years at The University of Queensland (UQ). For obtaining a Master of Engineering degree from UQ, the student would have to complete two years at UQ, post studying for a period of three years at Shiv Nadar University, for a Bachelor’s degree. The launch of these programs is planned shortly.

  • University of Warwick, UK

    SNU and University of Warwick have established an agreement to facilitate the exchange of students between the History Department, The University of Warwick and Humanities and Social Sciences students at Shiv Nadar University.

  • University of Wisconsin Madison, USA

    Shiv Nadar University and University of Wisconsin Madison have agreed to work together to provide a study experience of no longer than one year to undergraduate and post-graduate students enrolled at SNU, at the University of Wisconsin Madison as a visiting non-degree student.
