The Department of Physical Education is organizing the 1st SNIoE Inter Hostel Mix Badminton Championship 2023 on 4th-5th April 2023. All the Hostels of Shiv Nadar Institution of Eminence will be a part of the event.

The last date to register is 20th March 2023.
Tryouts for different hostels will be conducted on 25th-26th March 2023. This tournament aims to promote a healthy and competitive environment among the hostels. We encourage all students to participate in this tournament regardless of skill level. Practice sessions will be scheduled in the coming weeks, and will be informed. We encourage all participants to attend these sessions to prepare for the tournament.
Rules of the Tournament.
- Format of the Tournament
1st Match: Mix Doubles
2nd Match: Men Singles
3rd Match: Men Doubles-1
4th match: Women's Doubles
5th Match: Men Double-2
- One faculty or Staff member, male or female, is mandatory in a hostel team.
- Faculty or Staff to be recruited by the team captain.
- Faculty or Staff member playing in matches is mandatory.
- No repetition is allowed. One player can play in one match only.
- Match of 15 points best of 3.
- Finals 21 points best of 3.
- Matches will also be played on the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd of April 2023 also.
- Two hostels will be merged if registrations will be less
- Girls players will be merged with the boy’s team on the basis of the lot system.
Finally, we invite all hostel students to come and support their hostel teams during the tournament. It promises to be an exciting event with lots of friendly competition.
