B.Sc. (Research) in Mathematics
Over the last century, mathematics has not only taken great strides in its development but has become central to our understanding of almost every other discipline. Our undergraduate Major provides a solid base for further studies in mathematics, and its applications and careers in the industry. The program duration for our B.Sc. (Research) program is 6 to 12 semesters. Our graduates have gone onto higher studies and careers in mathematics, economics, and data analytics. They have been admitted to leading institutions in India and abroad
Overview
The B.Sc. Mathematics (Research) degree program is distinct in that it incorporates both practical work and research, also allowing students to complete a thesis with the guidance of an advisor. This provides students with the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop practical skills in addition to theoretical knowledge. Empowerment through rigorous learning and research in fundamental areas of mathematics and emerging technologies is at the core of the undergraduate programme. The program duration for our B.Sc. (Research) program is 6 to 12 semesters.
