Functional Oxide Materials Laboratory

Nanotechnology deals with the precise control and manipulation of atoms and molecules to create novel materials and device structures with unique properties. The emerging new device concepts and dimensionalities have triggered scientific research on new functional oxide materials with a novel set of magnetic, optical, electrical, structural & other physical & chemical properties. Our research at SNU is focused on the synthesis of oxide materials with unconventional electronic properties in thin films and nanostructures.
